Layth Sidiq

Layth Sidiq is a Grammy-nominated violinist, composer and educator, currently serving as the Artistic Director of the New York Arabic Orchestra.

A Jordanian artist of Iraqi heritage, he is a graduate of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Renowned for his virtuosic technique, he masters microtones and expressive improvisational skills within the maqam tradition.

Guided by the mentorship of Dhafer Youssef, he is currently working on his debut full-band album.

Set for release in 2027 via Backbeat Edition, this project marks a significant milestone in his international career.
